Important Dates for Fall Term, 2009

Pre-orientation for international students: Sunday, September 20 - Tuesday, September 22
New student check-in for undergraduates and graduates: Wednesday, September 23
New student orientation for undergraduates and graduates: Wednesday, September 23 - Sunday, September 27

Classes begin: Tuesday, September 29

Midterm examination period: Wednesday, October 28 - Tuesday, November 3
If you assign a midterm, please do not assign homework during this time.

Last day to drop courses, exercise pass/fail option, change sections:
Wednesday, November 18

Last day of classes: Friday, December 4
Study period: Saturday, December 5 - Tuesday, December 8
Final examinations: Wednesday, December 9 - Friday, December 11
End of Fall term: Friday, December 11

Grades due: Wednesday, December 16, 9:00 a.m.

Institute holiday: Friday, December 25 - Friday, January 1

Winter term classes begin: Monday, January 4
